Starting my working life off as a paramedic and medical educator, I listened to and empathized with patients’ pain points. Developing a deep understanding of their core challenges, I used that to write curriculum that met learners where they were and shaped the providers they were becoming.
When I was hired at a local startup to promote the value of simulation in healthcare, I spent 6 years learning the finer points of sales writing:
Tapping into “The WHY”. I learned to unearth the target audiences frame of reference and what drove them.
I honed in the details of my writing to meet learners where they were at in their journeys.
I persuaded students to take the next right actionable step in our preplanned journey by giving the right noise-to-signal ratio that allowed them to passively learn the objectives we set before them.

You can find me at the peak of a mountain, and most definitely snowboarding my way down in the winter months.
Growing up in a landlocked state I developed a knack for surfing.
I groove on anything from the 70’s and contemplate the true meaning of life while studying astronomy in the starry night sky.
I would take a night in playing guitar and songwriting over drinks at the bar.
And I live to be on the open road and traveling in my Japanese camper van, Sweet Virginia.
